COVID-19: Helping Students Without Internet Access
As COVID-19 begins to affect more people, the chance of schools re-opening becomes slimmer. It’s estimated that 400,000 students in Illinois do not have access to the internet in their homes. As schools begin to switch to online schooling, how will these students complete school work?
Each and every one of us has to play a part in helping our communities stay healthy. Donating money to help students in need, may be your way to help. Around 100 families living in Edwardsville, Illinois do not have access to computers or internet. Our goal is to help raise money so that those students can have the necessary tools to continue their education, even in times like this. Many people have overcome problems much larger than this. With your help, we can get a computer into every home that doesn’t have access to one. If you can help in any way, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
